Meet Your Psychologists

Karyn L. Gust-Brey, Ph.D. has been a licensed psychologist since 2000. She worked in the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC) Division of Juvenile Corrections (DJC) for 13 years as a psychology intern and a licensed psychologist. She currently works for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) where she completes inpatient competency evaluations, competency restoration treatment, and psychological evaluations in an adult forensic program, as well as periodically providing psychological services to youth placed at the institution because of an adjudication of delinquency. She has taught graduate assessment courses and has supervised practicum students, predoctoral interns, and postdoctoral fellows in assessment. Rachel Reinders-Saeman, Ph.D., LPC,  has been a licensed psychologist since 2019 along with being a licensed professional counselor since 2017. She has worked in community-based clinics as well as inpatient facilities. She is fluent in Spanish, and is able to conduct psychological evaluations with Spanish-speaking individuals. Alaina Kroes, Psy.D., is a Licensed Psychologist.  She works with children of all ages and  enjoys conducting psychological evaluations.  She has an interest in completing evaluations for autism spectrum disorder (and is trained on the administration of the ADOS-2) and bonding assessments.  Her experience includes providing therapy and psychological evaluations to adults, adolescents, and children in forensic and community-based settings.  Her research interests include the parent-child relationship, and she completed her dissertation on this subject.  She has experience conducting psychological evaluations for diagnostic clarification, parenting capacities, learning difficulties, competency, behavioral disturbances and emotional disturbances.  She completed her internship at the Department of Corrections.  Email Dr. Kroes at Alainakroes@psychassess.net

Adiona Mustafaraj, Psy.D. is a post-doctoral fellow in psychology.  She graduated from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology, completing an internship at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.  She worked with children and adults throughout her practicum experience and provided therapy and psychological evaluations to people of all ages.  She has worked with individuals in multiple settings such as forensic, hospital, private practice, and community-based settings.  Her assessment experiences include conducting psychological evaluations for diagnostic clarification, learning difficulties, behavioral and emotional disturbances, parenting evaluations, and neuropsychological testing/screening.  She is fluent in Albanian and extremely interested in cultural diversity.   Email Dr. Mustafaraj at AdionaMustafaraj@psychassess.net
